PDF to Word Converter

PDF Tools

Extract the text from a PDF into an editable Word (.docx) file in your browser.

What this does and doesn't do: this extracts the text content of your PDF into an editable .docx file entirely in your browser. It does not preserve fonts, images, columns, or exact layout — true pixel-perfect PDF-to-Word conversion needs a real document-layout engine, which isn't something that can run honestly client-side. For text-heavy PDFs (reports, letters, contracts) this gets you an editable starting point fast.

Frequently asked questions

Will formatting, images, and layout be preserved?
No — this extracts text content only. Fonts, images, columns, and exact layout aren’t preserved, since that needs a full document-layout engine rather than something honest to run client-side.
Does this work on scanned PDFs?
No — scanned (image-only) PDFs have no embedded text to extract. This works on PDFs that were generated from a document, not a scan.
